Sheryl Ward is a registered nurse, working in the nursing field for over 30 years; as well as a massage therapist. She graduated in 2009 from The Whole You School of Massage and Bodyworks in Rutherfordton, NC. and from SUNY Morrisville with Assoc Degree in Nursing. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuro-Muscular Massage and continues to broaden her practice, through continuing education. She has had the desire and the passion for massage therapy long before becoming a therapist. When receiving bodywork in the past, she would always be very inquisitive asking about schooling, years of practice, and techniques prior to settling in to relaxing and enjoying the bodywork. Through several different modalities of massage, she believes that the body can experience a true mind, body, and spirit transformation that will leave you with lasting effects and keep you coming back wanting that relaxation and rejuvenated feeling. She is a member of the NANMT. Which, provides a holistic approach to health care, through personalized touch-based therapies. In addition to nursing and massage, she is very blessed to have great friends, a wonderful family, and two fur-babies, Sadie and Daisy that she enjoys spoiling and spending time with. She also enjoys reading, photography, and spending time at the beach.

A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

HEATED BAMBOO
